Hello! I have implemented badge icon using notification servers for iOS and Android. However on Android, only few manufacturers provide such built-in possibility. It means on any Android you will receive notifications (they will be displayed in notification center), but only few devices with also display a badge for such notifications (foe example Samsung does) .
