I have a software developed for Building Automation that makes the interface with the building equipments (lights, heating, etc) and runs in a regular computer.
I need an Android application that runs in tablets and phones to show objects' status and accept actions (turn on, turn off, etc)
The interface is already designed because it must be similar to the computer software but native Android elements can be used to speed up the app user experience and also the development: buttons, sliders, checkbox, etc
My software is different from all the others building automation systems because it shows the objects (lights, equipments, shutters, etc) directly over the floor plan or photos and also followed by a list of the building parts. Everything is already well thought and easy to adapt to a mobile application.
The communication part of the system should be done using an internet server and not the building directly. The computer in the building will be in charge to contact the internet server to put the updated objects status and get new instructions received by the mobile application.
All the details will be discussed when the development starts up.
