Android Application for Delivery Management

Basic understanding and requirement: Delivery Management -Signature Capture and Status Update What we have? We are in retail industries and we have our own application developed in VB.NET We are using MySQL as database server. We have to Deliver the products sold by us to our customer using delivery vehicles. All the process including Invoicing, and Barcode scanning at warehouse is being done in our desktop application. Once product is scanned for delivery from our warehouse, its status is set to “Out for Delivery in database”. This is being done by desktop application. Now its time to update the status of that delivery by Driver who is delivering the product to the customer’s address. What we want? We need to develop an Android based application in which our driver can capture customer’s signature via touch screen enabled android mobile and update the delivery status of particular invoice and send it to main server over the GPRS/EDGE/3G. Signature should be sent to the server in form of JPG or PNG format. All the illustrative design and functions are described in next pages.
