Associate Retail Marketing Consultant (freelance)

The Associate Retail Marketing Consultant (freelance/contractor) role at Retailbound, Inc. offers the unique opportunity to combine technical aptitude, business skills, supply chain knowledge, and face-to-face client contact in an exciting, retail consulting career. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our world-class customers in multiple retail product categories including consumer electronics, sporting goods, hardware, toys, housewares, and more. Our retail consultants are a customer’s primary point of contact throughout the implementation of one or more of our retail marketing and/or merchandising solutions, including product development, brand management, and trade channel marketing management. Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Business • Flexible schedule (between 24-40 hours per week) • “Hands on” work experience gained in the retail industry. Ideal past positions – Associate Buyer, Senior Retail Buyer, Category Manager, Product Manager, Merchandising Manager, and Marketing Manager. • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills • Interest and aptitude for retail marketing and merchandising • Ability to work autonomously and effectively with executives and staff members at all levels within the company and client organizations • Self-motivated, industrious • Ability to juggle multiple projects/ tasks simultaneously • Position in our Chicago, IL office • Not able to provide sponsorship; must be able to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship Interested applicants should send their cover letter and resume.
