I need to save on my computer many QT videos from a server.

I have 2 text files with line break separated values of a list, one is for the URLs the other is for the titles:

Sample:

[url removed, login to view];login=U9638954

[url removed, login to view];login=U9638954

[url removed, login to view];login=U9638954

Profils et modèles (05:35)

Exportation au format Photoshop (02:06)

Conversion Microsoft Office (00:26)

Your job will be to make a tool that can use both lists to download and save the videos with the corresponding titles in a new folder. The video duration and any extra character will have to be removed. The purpose is to do it much faster than by hand (≈2min per file).

Sample result:

13/1 Profils et modè[url removed, login to view]

13/2 Exportation au format [url removed, login to view]

13/3 Conversion Microsoft [url removed, login to view]

The tool can be programmed in any language but must run on Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7, preferably something easy to edit such as AppleScript. It will probably have to make use of QuickTime's library to access the files.

I was told that it's impossible because the URLS are not direct, they go through a player - but still I think that what can be done manually can be automated.
