The duties of this job will be to accurate locate potential customers within a set geographical region within the U.S. for my team to call upon. Starting off this will primarily be a research position where you will be given a particular city(ies), or state(s) to focus on and you'll be asked to collect all the pertinent data that will be useful for my team to begin entering into discussion with the potential customers, and then enter that data into a CRM. Pertinent data will include information such as the name of the business, the type of business, location of the business and the correct name and contact information of the decision maker in charge of purchasing for that company. We sell a commoditized product so the challenge in this position will not be to find opportunities, it will be to systematize your research scope so that the vast amount of potential customers can be easily called upon by my sales team. Because our product is used by such a wide variety of companies and industries this position will require someone who is resourceful with online research, very proficient in writing in and speaking English, adaptable, focused, efficient, very organized, and imaginative. We will train you on methods that we currently use to gather this information, but we require someone who has their own methodology and successful track record of generating large amounts accurate information as well. This position will start off as a part time engagement with 25 hours of work per week, with the first week being a trial period. Once we identify a person who is consistently performing and generating accurate information then we will increase this position to a full time position, marginally increase the scope of the work, and discuss a bonus structure. This position is not complicated, nor does it require a degree, however the information captured by the person in this position is valuable to our business, and we will likewise value and compensate the person who does this job well.
