Hello there, As per my understanding you want to trigger Facebook Like button on your Facebook page from your custom site, right? There will not be a big issue if can just put Facebook like plugin to trigger that. But, you want to trigger the event from a custom link. So, we need to to write a custom JavaScript code. Facebook has given Facebook JavaScript SDK and XFBML to deploy the Like button on your site.

The clickable element can be any where in your page which will trigger your facebook like button automatically. it will be like plugin, i can make it a jquery plugins.
