C# Security Framework Development

The project involves creating a SECURITY FRAMEWORK to implement in several web Sites. We need to create a framework to speed up several projects ongoing in our company. The main idea is to have a Web administration site where we can give access to modules and pages. Requirements: • The access of the users is based in roles and profiles. • The framework should have a login page where the user enters his credentials; the framework should hash the password in the client side so it doesn’t send via internet in plain text. • If login succeed it should be redirected to a default page. • The framework should generate an ASP menu Control based on the access of the user. • The framework should generate an ASP Site map path control based on the page consulting. • The framework should have functions we can use in other pages to validate the access of the user to a particular page, if the user doesn’t have access it redirects to the login or default page. • The access level to a certain page could be (see, edit Add, or delete) Characteristics: • Should be development in C#/JavaScript • Should be development in .NET framework 4.0 • Should be separate in different layers as in (Data Access Layer, Business Layer and User Interface Layer) Inputs: • A Database Diagram in SQL Server or Data Base Backup • Simple Business rules in a separate document (eg. Framework should be configured to force the user change the password every ‘x’ days) • Documentation Guidelines. • Development Guidelines. Deliverables: • Web Pages to administrate the Users, Profiles, Roles, Modules, Categories, Pages and Framework Configuration. • A Visual Studio 2010 Project or Zip with Classes • Web Pages, Scripts and Classes should be well commented. • Documentation of the functions involved in the framework.
