I have developed requirements , designed, coded, rolled out into production and maintain several java systems in an enterprise environment. They all involve connecting to databases and looking up and processing information. For your application, I would read the the csv file and loop through it selecting items from the data base that match csv fields. If there is a match, I would write the item to a discard log and not enter it into the data base. I have a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and have extensive design experience in electronics and digital electronics as well as computer programs. In short: I solve problems.
