For this algorithm to be useful it will need to accept different scenarios. For example if the tax rate went up to 25% or if a longer period of time was required. I propose to write an algorithm where these values are not hard coded. Furthermore, as it will be calculating money, using primitive floats will be insufficient therefore a more accurate number type will be required. Note: if a specific language is preferred I can oblige.
