I am looking to replace a current concept artist of mine, who, while skilled, has proven himself to be unreliable. I am also seeking another concept artist purely for style variation.
I've always found it better to post what it is like working with me first before the job description.
ME
I'm an obsessive perfectionist/revisionist, but this does not mean I will abuse your time or effort. You may get a whole bunch of specific feedback, or something vague because I don't know the correct terminology (for which I apologise. The current working relationships that I have are quite fluid/flexible/friendly, and I pay both promptly and fairly (I expect you to set your own prices; value your own work). I'm blunt, have a bad habit of sending emails to my artists as a sort of ideas 'scratch pad'.
THE JOB
-Creating concept art based on portions of text, our conversations, and some sample images to help clarify when necessary.
-Drawing on a white A4 sheet of paper with a pencil (if you have an alternative method that achieves the same texture/result, then I am fine with that)
-Able to match or exceed the skill demonstrated in the previous artist's work (links at the bottom). For the secondary artist I don't require you to have any particular style and I will just see what fits best. If you check out the gallery at [login to view URL] you will find several examples of what I enjoy and current artists working with me.
-I'll retain all rights/ownership of the images created (you will ALWAYS be credited as the creator)
-Understand that sometimes that your art might actually influence stuff in the story (e.g. you might create some extra detail you find minor, but I want to turn it into something important). Beacuse of this your creativity is preferred. If you feel like something is worth giving a shot, give it a shot. I don't mind paying for your time to experiment, but please be fair on me with that.
-I always aim to cultivate long-term working relationships and would hope that you are comfortable being called upon for anything else I might have.
-There is always the opportunity that if you should read the book and think of a scene worth illustrating that after a quick chat with me that I will happily pay you to draw. I may or may not end up using it, but it is worth it for ME to have the image so I can have the world better defined in my head. Not all art you create needs to be for the product or public, sometimes it just helps paint the world in my head.

For sure i can match the artwork that was link in the drop box, pls check my freelancer portfolio
but is require a lot of time to finish one it depends on the overall object and things must be included on an A4 size paper usually 1-3 days one artwork, how much per artwork? how many do you need?
I am skilled illustrator and creating concept art seriously is just second nature, and skilled 2d digital animator too, storyboard artist, character design, very confident that i can do this job
i am interested on how much do you pay per artwork, like artworks links provided in dropbox website

Hello. I am a life long artist and I would love to do this type of work as I mostly do a lot of branding/business graphics jobs and I'd like something I can really get into fully like this. I am a full time freelancer and this is my only source of income, so I can't afford to waste your time and money or mine.
