To redesign the Facebook personal feed page in the below ways to to make it feel more personalized and reader-friendly:
- Turn the columns of pages/groups/apps/interests/events,etc. into small and simple icons with the hottest/latest/most popular details showing when you hover on the icons
- With more space by turning the left column into simple icons on the top, we can have 2 grids of news feed in each row. Therefore the reader can view more feed from their friends at one look instead of non-stop scrolling down.
- News feed from close friends/friends who have most interactions with you will be highlighted in another colour, e.g. light blue, instead of everything looking the same
- Only showing the top comment in one feed
- Facebook friends who continuously share information from other pages will turn invisible (for some of his/her news feeds) when their "sharing" posts reach to a certain amount in a day
- Instead of one news feed grid showing multiple photos, it should be set into displaying only one top photo while we can slide to another photo by simply hovering on that feed
- "Top news" should no longer be the top news from anyone else accordingly to the time of the feed posted, but the top news from the close/most interactive friend first then comes to others
