Design a Logo - Ultimate Success Summit

We are an events company who are hosting an event in South Africa in October called the Ultimate Success Summit.
It’s a one day – personal development / wealth creation event for around 5000 people. Topics will be trading, sales, goal setting, wealth development, public speaking – the whole lot.
I am looking to design an event logo - I have attached 2x that we have used in the past just as a starting point. It doesn’t have to be the same as this – but just so you have ideas of what we’ve done before. Here was one of our old websites as well so you can have a look / feel [login to view URL]
Our major competitor is the NAC National Achievers Congress [login to view URL] - they run similar events / syle of events. In the past our headliners have been Sir Richard Branson, Jordan Belfort the Wolf of Wall St and Steve Wozniak from Apple.
It needs to be a clean, simple, bold logo that can be used either with the event title 'Ultimate Success Summit' or just as a logo for branding that people will recognize.
