Design a Logo

I am looking for an artist to design a logo for my online grocery delivery business named Crescent Cart. The business operates in and around the greater New Orleans area (hence the name: CRESCENT Cart -- New Orleans is also known as the Crescent City). To better understand what type of logo Crescent Cart needs, I will explain the type of business it is; Basically, it is a small "clone" of the popular grocery delivery service named Instacart (If you are unfamiliar with this company, I strongly recommend that you download the instacart mobile app and visit [login to view URL] ~ Instacart's logo is absurdly simple. It's a minimalistic carrot-shape. I do NOT want Crescent Cart's logo to match too closely to Instacarts; with that said - I do love the simplicity of it's carrot logo. Another appealing logo belonging to a delivery-type service is that of [login to view URL] -- It is simply a single color (white or greyish) person on a bike with three star shapes behind the bike rider). I really like this - mainly bc the stars are alluring to me. Now, I will attach a photograph of something that EVERYONE in the city of New Orleans recognizes and considers the symbol of their city (these water meter covers are very well designed and coveted worldround) - It is a metal plate found on the concrete of the sidewalk in New Orleans.I have considered incorporating this into the design of the logo. HOWEVER Just like very meaning of the word "crescent" itself (to grow) -- Our company has plans to expand and grow to multiple states in the US as swiftly as we can. So while I want Crescent Cart to remain named Crescent Cart - It is important that the 'look' of the logo and overall aesthetic of the brand will be able to be translated in other states as well. So: • simplicity • clean and modern • Able to transcend Just the state of LA and expand throughout the US If You can create something that meets the above criteria, I will be beyond ecstatic.
