Hi,
I'm realist, if you say that's big app, I prefer give you a long time for the migration.
It is necesary, too, to define database for your project if your app hold on data y .dat files.
I have experience in this kind of projects, I'm 42 years, I knew Qbasic may be from 1989-1991. It's necesary to read the Qbasic book again;
There is many app to convert qbasic to visual basic, but it's vb 6.0 not .net and it's possible that you have the same problem in two or three months, because VB6.0 is obsolete now, and it's possible that does not run in your pc.
My proposal is:
1. See app running
2. See the code Qbasic
3. Define how migrate app to vb.net with database
4. To Do this plan is short time, but I'm realist time and price may be changed when I see the app in Qbasic
If you want we can chat and we can see the code app.
I wait for your comments

I have changed my proposal in price, I was working in a workaround in a virtual machine with xp or DOS.
I did not change the time, because 5000 lines is very big
If you want send me a file to check and chat later.

I prefer to tell you the true, I do not change my price and time.
In internet you find many conversion programs, but change your software a visual basic 6.0 that is a old version without support, and you have to change again in two or three months
My proposal is:
1. Read the code
2. Migrate to Visual Basic .net (new version)
