Transcript Evaluation Web System The computer science department needs a web system to help on the evaluation of student course credit transfer. A student can apply to transfer a previous course credits from another college/university. The student needs to upload the scanning of the formal transcript, course syllabus and wait for the evaluation of a professor. A professor can approve or deny an application. There are two roles in this system: User and Administrator. A user can: User can login with their google account. (Use the google Identify Platform: [login to view URL] ) User can choose to upload a transcript in picture format( jpg, png, tif) or pdf format. User can upload a syllabus in word, pdf or plain text format. When user uploads a new transcript, an application will be created. Once the application is submitted by the user, an email will be send to the administrator. User’s application should be saved into a database system, including the user email, name, transcript, and application status. All the materials regarding an application should be saved to database. An administrator can: Login into the system to evaluate all the applications. The web system should be able to list all the applications. An administrator can approve and deny an application, and leave a comment on the decision. Once a decision is made, an email will be send to the user who applied for the transfer. The comment should also be send to the user together with the decision. The decision should be saved to database.
