Change Brochure Background and Text Colour - Design Job

We need our product brochure improved. Currently background is black with white and blue writing. It is difficult to read and see drawings and photo's. Brochure created in Adobe Illustrator. Attached are snapshots of the brochure. Text is in Japanese. Do not change layout. Prefer light background, ie. white or grey or blue. There needs to be a background design. Very simple and basic. Overall design must be well balanced. Total 12 pages including front and back covers.
