Article & Interview Layouts in small magazine

I need 3/4 articles laid out and 1 interview template with 4 color variations for a local publication. It is a pocket sized bar & restaurant magazine. You must be able to read the articles fluently and design a concept for the layout that plays off the theme of the article. Attached are the 4 articles that need to be laid out (the Betty B article has a look already, just needs text layout), a PDF with examples of past articles and interviews to give you an idea of what we are looking for. I can send templates for the layouts because space can get tight. A page of the magazine is 5.5 inches x 4.5 inches (spread 11" x 4.5") . You must keep in mind bleeds and the inside seem when designing. The budget is pretty firm. It's a fairly easy assignment. Needs to be finished by Saturday or we'll have to just do this one in house and look for someone next issue. This could be a reoccurring project. It's a fun, drunken, light hearted magazine, so looking for someone with good energy! You can see examples of the magazine article and interview layouts in the attached screen shot. Most any format is fine. Illustrations will be considered, but we'd prefer if someone came up with images or abstract graphic layout for the articles. The articles have no 'set' length. Typically they will be 2-3 pages (1 page is 5.5" x 4.5").
