build dynamic, attractive website to replace our existing site

We are seeking a web designer to provide us with an attractive, engaging and functional website focused on these goals: 1. Solicit and process donations a. Provide a secure website (256-bit encryption) that allows visitors to donate to a variety of categories that support our organization 2. Engage the community we serve a. Make it easy for the community to connect with SARS through the website and related social media channels b. Allow the community to contact us via the web and email as well as subscribe to newsletters and relevant alerts 3. Excellent, simple and robust Content Management a. The people providing our content need to be focused on making relevant information available to our website users, not on learning the ins and outs of a complicated CMS b. The folks who update the website need simple ways to: add front page articles, add and categorize photos and videos of our organization in action, receive and respond to comments generated by website articles and information Other requirements: a. Track conversions of links from newsletters, social media blasts and other content that induces readers to donate to SARS b. Make it easy for volunteers and paid staff to complete an online application and receive confirmation that it was received by SARS c. Allow for community members to sign up online for newsletters and alerts d. We need a section of the website for posting training events – for the community and for internal training a. People should be able to see the schedule of upcoming events b. They should be able to pay for them online using our payment gateway e. Integrate Google Analytics (we have an account already) f. An integrated photo section is needed that is publicly accessible and easy to add/delete/caption from the CMS g. Contact Us page should be flexible to allow users to send us problems, questions, compliments and other choices a. When people do contact us, we should be able to automatically send their comment to the appropriate person based on the request h. Great social media integration is important. We want to use HootSuite to post articles on the website and then automatically post to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, etc. i. Multiple content providers should be able to submit articles for review by our Executive Staff before they are published. In addition, the Editors of the website should be able to schedule articles for publication in the future. Future projects for this website include an online store for selling a limited number of branded products. Also an internal/members only area for posting information not available to the public. We are a provider of 911 ambulance service to our community.
