I own interviewizards.com. This idea behind it is simple. Young professionals or students just finishing college who are looking for employment can visit this site to "practice" their interview skills or submit their resumes to people in the field they want to work in. There are three groups Apprentice, Jouneyman and Master. The Masters are those that will do mock/real interviews for practice or for real positions that they have. They can also review resumes. Apprentices are already working in the field in some capacity and can also offer insight into interviewing and resumes since they are more fresh to the concept. Apprentices can also use the Masters for advice on career advancement. What constitutes an apprentice, journeyman and master I have not yet clearly defined. Interview wizards is a guidance web site but is also a way for people to make connections. It is not like Linkin in that it isn't giving the user an ability to create a page about themselves, although I want the functionality to upload resumes. This is a profit driven web site. Membership is free for search purposes. For example, I can create an account. I would begin by going through a number of options to create a search, Such as: I am an apprentice, looking for interview practice, area of interest. Then, a bunch of people who are marketing themselves to provide this service pop up. They set their own price and the customer can choose who to go with. I want to have suggestions for the journeyman and masters who will be setting prices because if they start off cheap of free and build a reputation for themselves, the better they do. There will be a little symbol sort of like a "like" on facebook but instead it will be a wizard. Those that have the most wizards are clearly better than others. I want customers to be able to comment on the people that provide them with service for others to see. There also needs to be a way to screen these people to assure me that they are who they are before they are permitted to be labeled jouneyman and masters. I am thinking an apprentice is one who has little to no experience 1-3 years. Journeyman are those that have 5-12 years and Masters are 12years+. I will take a percentage of the amount that each journeyman and master charge for their services and a cut from the apprentice for membership. If a journeyman wants to use the services from a master they have to purchase it like the apprentice.
