I am accepting designs for a logo for a new startup company described below.
The anxiety a parent feels when their child is sick is a universal feeling. Not only does a mother or father hurt for their child but they also struggle with a common problem. How does one help a child understand what is happening to them? Whether it is very basic health and wellness information, or complex medical procedures, a common cold, or an appendectomy requiring anesthesia, a parent's fears are often compounded by a lack of certainty in how to educate their child.
Tiny Docs is launching to provide a solution to that problem, with a long-term global focus on educating children across the world on health and wellness. Tiny Docs is a web platform that will provide resources to educate kids and families about health issues and surgical procedures without the 'doctor-ese'. Our site will offer short cartoons featuring our stars, Dr. Patches, a precocious 7-year-old girl physician and her sidekick, Nurse Scrubs, a precocious 7-year-old boy wonder nurse. Our library of cartoons will educate kids (and parents) about a wide range of health issues in a fun and entertaining way.
In addition to interactive cartoons, we will offer games, animated stories, and quizzes (all enhanced by a gamifcation system that encourages and rewards participation) to make sure that the kids are learning and having fun. For parents/guardians, Tiny Docs will offer a plethora of links and resources to educate themselves about their child’s health condition or surgical procedure. We’ll have blogs by leading physicians, healthy recipes from celebrity chefs, a web forum to connect with other parents around the world, and a store with merchandise.
