My heartiest congratulations on writing your novel. It can be a daunting task! I have been planning to write one for years and still haven't started :D I am writing to you, not exactly to bid but because I related to the character and I wrote a poem when I was missing someone very dear (I had no idea who, but I guess it was my mother). Here is the poem: Where were you? When I was a kid I used to run around Climb the trees And fall down I ran and ran and ran around And looked back At the empty grounds And wondered Where were you? I grew up Had many friends Who taught me things I could never get, “Look pretty And dress up well For guys might be looking Who could tell?” But When I put my best dress on I only wanted you to see me Tell me now Where were you? Now I’m strong I know my ways I do know now What they mean and say But still when the night gets cold The darkness overtakes me I close my eyes and let tears fall And wonder what I’ve been told I look around and ask once more Where were you? I know I'm committing a serious error because I've had my work taken by people who never paid. But I still feel like showing it to you. I know it's from the perspective of a grown up woman who remembers her past. But we can fix that up. Also I put a bid because I couldn't communicate with you in any other way. My most recent show 'Heavy Mania' was performed in Montreal for a crowd of 75 000 people.
