Brooklyn-based start-up firm seeks applicants versed in Flash to translate a finalized design layout into a functional published website.
Our brand philosophy is centered around a simplistic approach to user-generated, editor-curated content in a hyper-local context. As such, the website is based on an extremely minimalist user interface, concentrating on pragmatic use of text, imagery, and concentration on functional aesthetics.
The majority of the design work and layout is completed in Flash and simply requires the successful applicant to apply necessary coding and attributes to the established graphics.
The main feature of the website is a chronologically updated exhibition of content consisting of both text and graphic components. Subsequent pages on the website will contain simple, text-based content.
Additionally, the website requires the implementation of a content submission form for text and graphic uploads.
This is a fantastic opportunity for paid light-work for interested parties. In addition, successful completion of the project will open the opportunity for future paid work as offered. This initial assignment is the starting point for the development of similar websites to be implemented on a global scale.
As director of this project and principal of the firm, I will be readily available to answer all and any questions you may have. In addition, you can always contact me by e-mail for a timely response.
I look forward to discussing this opportunity will all eager and qualified applicants.
Hi Kelly,
To clarify, you have a design/graphics already laid out in flash and you need someone to add the scripting and such necessary to turn it into a fully functioning website, correct?
If so, I would be fully qualified to do that. I'm an Austin-based writer/programmer with a degree in computer science and a strong web background.
We can get into a more detailed design requirement spec later, but from the description given I believe I would be able to fully realize your vision. I'd love to hear more and work out a proposal that works for both of us.
