Create Estimating spreadsheet in Excel

Hello, I've done a lot of work on quote generating programs in Excel and have done something very similar like you describe. I would envision have a worksheet tab that would house the various options with their associated costs. Then on the front sheet there would be a well laid out quote form that would have the pertinent logos/language etc. that had dropdown boxes to easily populate the pertinent fields and type in quantities and a cell where you type in your desired margin. You would also need to give consideration as to how to handle freight/duties/taxes. I look forward to possibly lending a hand.

From here we can go to the following places a) Create Quote b) update database c) Open quote 2) Create Quote : this is the page where you generate the quote by entering all the details you mentioned, in a userform and click on "Submit" . A quote will get generated with options to take printout, mail to the customer, save the quote. 3) update database: here you add more options, edit existing options, delete old options, provide supplier and manufacturer information etc. This will be the complete backend. 4) open quote : here we enter the customer I'd or order I'd to retrieve his quote and then either edit it based on some change requests from the customer and generate modified quote. We can also use use it for our internal reference.
