Hi, I have been working on FPGAs and using Quartus II from Altera as well HDL coder from Matlab Simulink. The project was to develop and program this board for the low level control of a robotic hand called UBHand IV from the university of Bologna in Italy. I have implemented an architecture that could acquire measures from SPI so implemented the SPI protocol in verilog, PWM modules for motors control, Encoders modules for measuring the position and the driver of an EPP port for communication of the board with a computer. On the computer I have developed a driver that could control the boardand would run on a RTOS called RTAI Linux developed from the Polytechnic university of Milan.
