Instructions for the Panini Grill:

-Arduino UNO or NANO (if possible)

-Solid State Relay

-Sensor MAX6675 + K Type Thermocouple

-I2C LCD display 16x2

-3 Leds

-2 Buttons

-1 Buzzer (beep)

-POWER indicator LED: Will indicate the Arduino and grill are on.

-HEATING indicator LED: Will indicate there is voltage applied to heating element (Relay LED)

-BUZZER indicator LED: will indicate each time there is a beep on the buzzer.

-START button: Will start the cycle.

-STOP button: Will stop the cycle at any time or stop the buzzer once the cycle is done.

All display LCD text centered on each line)

When turn on:

- Display Introduction text: Line 1 "Starting Grill" (Delay 6 seconds)

Line 2 "Left Plate"

- Make 1 Beep.

- Display: Line 1:"Preheating..."(blinking) Temp: 32 C(normal)

Line 2:"Left Plate"(normal)

- Preheat up to 175C.

Once optimal temperature is reached (175 C):

-Make 3 fast beeps(only the first time it reaches 175,)

-Display: Line 1 "Temperature 175 C"(normal)

Line 2 "Press Start"(blinking)

To start cycle:

-Press Start button

-Make 1 Beep

-Begin raise temperature up to 232 C

-Display: Line 1: "67" (number countdown) Temp 218 C ...(reading actual temperature as it goes up)

Line 2: "Grilling"(blinking)

-When countdown hits: 5 (beep) 4 (beep) 3 (beep) 2 (beep) 1 (beep), then beep beep beep beep during 5 seconds.

The following 5 seconds beep faster. Then beep continuosly until stop button is pressed. (beeeeeeeeeeeeeeppp...)

-Press STOP button: cycle ends.

- Lower temp to 175 C, Beep 1 time
