Dear worker I need someone who can deliver me a frequency generator, called F14 as electronic solution. I need a electronical engineer which is able to deliver me a circuit board (Eagle format) with electronic on it. Virtual only. I have an audio synthisizer (wave generator from computer) and can create all wave signals from 100Hz to 10KHz. That is the input which drives your electronic. Your electronic receives the audio signal and interpret the wave form as binary values (250Hz = zero, 2500Hz = one). By interpreting these values as Bit, we can program your device, called F14 frequency generator. The F14 frequency generator will output a wave form signal as rectangle from 10Hz until 3Mhz with an peak to peak amplitude to 28V. The device will be driven by 5V only. DC converter is needed. The endprice for this product, case included should be below $30.- for production. Each item should cost me < $30.- for electronic and board and case. Quantity of 100. See the attachment. Hello! This is interesting project. I'd like to use PIC16F886, PIC18F2550 or similar @ 20MHz (up to 48MHz for PIC18F2550 ). As I understand you need the F14 device which will be controlled by audio signal. The audio command is modulated by frequency (2500 Hz - logical 0 and 250 - logical 1, duration 60ms). The packet consist of start sequence, frequency, amplitude, waveform type, active flag and end sequence. I am planning to use digital potentiometer for the amplitude regulation. Some parts is necessary for DC-DC converter (it can be driven by PIC PWM). We can discuss details later. I will provide schematic, source code, and results of prototype testing.

The product could be designed by a DDS (DIRECT DIGITAL SYNTHESIS) and an accompanying micro controller. Micro controller will be used to sense the incoming frequency from the computer speaker and then will drive the DDS accordingly along with the mechanism to adjust the amplitude of the signal. MCU will also be used for charge pump mechanism for the 28V peak signal output. DDS will enable the frequency to be adjusted precisely at 1Hz (actually less than that) resolution. I will design the schematic and PCB layout as well as the firmware for the MCU. Do you need an assembled sample too ? Thanks ... I forgot to mention that the unit cost will be around 20$ max for the electronic part but as I roughly estimated, it could be somewhere 15$.

Dear timoboehme, I have good experience in Electronics Design as i am a embedded system engineer. Your project requires Atmega328P micro-controller from Atmel, This would accept the input wave form of 100Hz to 10KHz, this will be interpreted by the electronics which would be around above mentioned electronics and would output binary values depending on the frequency it detects from PC side device, to F14 as digital values.
