We require a skilled avionics engineer to design an LRU (line-replaceable unit) for commercial aircraft use.
The LRU device is required to do the following:
Accept aircraft-generated ARINC 429 data and output the data to a USB 2.0 connector (data and power).
The labels will include but should not be limited to: altitude, ground speed, GNSS position, air-ground mode, Mach number, IAS, fuel on board, fuel flow, proximity sensors, heading, wind speed, ground speed, and SAT.
It will be your responsibility to specify required components (from approved FAA/EASA manufactures) and integrate them into an economical and FAA/EASA-certifiable design. Knowledge and use of AutoCAD or similar software is required.
With your design it should be reasonable and economical for our company to source the required parts, assemble a prototype, and obtain FAA/EASA design approval.
HI,
I was the technical responsible for the development of Computer Symbol Generator for European Fights (EFA).
I know all around the avionic designes.
