Hi, I have over 7 years of experience with BI and DWH projects. Since you didn't mentioned desired technologies, i will propose some (which i have experience with) I will put all parts of traditional BI project and if you're interested in this proposal we will discuss your particular case and choose the needed one. MS BI stack: 1) OLTP (source db) - could be any DBMS or even raw txt/excel 2) Staging DB - Intermediate storage for the data to transform. Its possible to implement kind of Data Vault here, but i'm not a fan of it=) 3) DWH - the datamart[s] with star/snowflake schema 4) [optional] Analysis Services - OLAP system to speed up analytical queries. In some case could be replaced with Mondrian OLAP 5) Tableau or Power BI as BI tools 6) ETL - SSIS or custom etl code (f.e. in python or DB stored procedures) Also it's possible to have any kind of mixed solution (Oracle, PL/SQL, SSRS reporting, Custom ETLs etc) Regards, Mykhail
