Hi, this is a very simple project.
I will provide you with an excel document, and you will return the document converted into a TXT file.
You will be provided with the Excel document (price list), and an Example of a TXT file that will show you the exact format required.
The TXT file always begins with the same first line.
16001,3,Inventory
The format is the same for every product;
%Part Number%, %Description%, "Inventory", "Chaque",%price%,%price%,1720,0,5020,5020,%Description%,"Each"
Where %Part Number% is the item's part number
Where %Description% is the item's description
Where "Inventory" is fixed and the (") are required
Where "Chaque" is french for the word each, and will depend on the unit for of the item: The two possibilities are "Chaque" or "Pied" *** Pied = foot.
Where 1720,0,5020,5020, is fixed
Where "Each" is the unit, and could also be "Foot"
The only 'complex' variable is not complex at all. It is the 'unit' and as you have noticed, there are two descriptions and two 'units'; the first description is normally French, but we will not bother with French Description and we will use only English descriptions for both descriptions columns.
The first unit, will either be "Chaque" or "Pied". The last column (english unit this time) will be "Each" or "Foot"
Chaque = Each
Pied = Foot
This project should take less than 2 hours
