We are working on a solution to collect large amounts of data from social networks by crawling them. Therefore we need a plan and a solution how to store and analyse all the information. The social networks will be crawled by different search criteria and stored to the data warehouse. From there it should be possible to analyse relations of different users eg. who is interacting the most with each other or generating a map for a single user profile showing all his friends. Filtering the results by gender, age or other information that is available. The whole solution should be based on open source where possible and should be scalable and working efficient with large amounts of data. Moreover you should be able to adapt a CMS solution as the interface of the data warehouse’s collected data and the crawler that collects the data, meaning there should be a user interface, where the user can conduct searches and these searches will deliver the data for the data warehouse.
