I want an individual to build a series of if, then scenarios for an excel sheet for me.
Specifically, I am looking for a formula that will generate one of three, pre-determined values based upon a range of dates. For example: (i) a value of "x" is automatically generated if the input date is less than or equal to a particular date; (ii) a value of "y" is automatically generated if the input date is greater than or equal to a particular date: (iii) a value of "z" is automatically generated if the input date is greater than or equal to a particular date.
My ultimate goal it to be able to enter a date (using the format of m-dd-yy) and have an adjacent cell generate a predetermined value.
Attached is a pretty weak attempt at starting this project, but the date data and predetermined values are contained & highlighted within the sheet.
