I am a system engineer with experience in independent development, would count as part of the team with an experienced person in the area of the soil laboratory, here son information about his job: Classification tests (visual classification, liquid limit and plastic limit, and particle sieving analisys ) Unit weight by paraffin and direct measurement, specific gravity (Gs), shrinkage limit hydrometer test 152 H Consolidometer test: Incremental consolidation, Free swell and Maximum controlled swell pressure Collapse test Shear strength tests: Torvane and Pocket penetometer Miniature vane test Unconfined compression test Direct shear test (ASTM D 3080) UU triaxial test (unconsolidated undrained triaxial compression test CIU assay trisxial (Concolidated undrain triaxial compression test Test for desing of road: Normal compaction test and modified CBR (California Bearing ratio) RQD Uniaxial compression test Point load test I have Experience in calibration of some labotatory equipment ( Compression Machine, Springs of miniature vane, picnometers, Digital balance, sensor pressure and digital manometers, ovens) I have basic knowledge of design of shallow fudation, deep fundation and slope stability In the laboratory I have trained part of the laboratory staff in the laboratory test.
