Financial and administrative assistance required for small but diversified UK-based private investor with some international exposure. Investments predominantly in mutual funds and stocks, held on different fund and brokerage platforms. The main routines are as follows: - Saving fund and stock charts (periodic – monthly) - Updating watchlists if, for example, new holdings added (monthly) - Transaction data entry with periodic reconciliation based on holdings statements in order to provide up to date information, namely accumulated gains/(losses) for the year and rebased cost of holdings (quarterly) - Presentation of figures according to a specified format to accompany tax return on annual basis - One-off tasks Information only access to the platforms will be provided where possible so that current holdings and any other relevant information can be easily checked. When transaction data can not be made available online then paper originals will be scanned. Preparatory work may be involved in migration from existing web based data entry system (decision pending). The work offered is ongoing - for the right applicant. It is possible that the current list of tasks could be expanded in the future. Skills required: Good data entry skills. Accounting experience. Ability to produce accounts using Excel. General acumen. Good internet browsing skills. Good communication. Confidentiality. Previous experience with accounting for investment transactions is expected. Pragmatic approach - no requirement to be painstakingly correct if small numerical discrepancies as these are private accounts. Theoretical knowledge – UK tax rules. Indian tax knowledge and potentially US of benefit.

Dear Sirs I can start immediately and my forte is typing/data entry!.. I can do it fast efficiently and will get it back to you as soon as possible . Why I am applying for this job?.
