The project objective is to Create an easy to use, three-step plan that will provide family of 5 to 8 members significant savings on a vacation to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Three items of the plan to save money and time on are:
Accommodations
Walt Disney World theme parks tickets
Dining option discounts
The plan must offer savings in money, and save time booking a trip, and must offer convenience in doing both.
The plan must offer options equal to, or as close to equal to the quality received through booking a vacation package through Walt Disney World's website (no motels or fast-food).
The techniques provided in the three step plan must be reliable. They must NOT be dependent upon time of year or circumstances beyond the family's control.
This plan is intended to save up to 40% to 50% off of the total price of a Walt Disney World vacation or more.
## Deliverables
Project Requirements:
A well-researched, discounted vacation plan designed for families of 5 to 8 members for a Walt Disney World vacation in Orlando Florida.
The plan should consist of 3 easy steps that any large family can apply when booking a Walt Disney World vacation.
The plan should be written in simple, easy-to-understand language
Graphs and charts are acceptable, but must be easy to understand.
The plan cannot contain the following:
No waiting in long lines for cheap tickets
No dining at fast food restaurants
No booking motels or one-star cheap hotels.
No recommendations for time-share presentations in exchange for discounts.
Must offer savings for families of 5 to 8 in three key areas:
Hotels or resorts with a minimum of a two-star quality rating by reputable rating agencies. Hotels must be within no more than a 20 minute drive from the Walt Disney World resort. Hotels should offer shuttle service if possible.
Multi-day tickets equivalent to the "Magic Your Way" ticket plans offered by Walt Disney World, but discounted. Base tickets and park hopper tickets should be included.
Meals - savings should be based on comparison to Walt Disney World meal plans which include three full meals per person per day.
Side-by-side comparisons between Walt Disney World pricing and the three-step savings plan pricing must be clearly apparent.
These comparisons must be based on actual pricing.
Accommodations: price comparisons should be based on the cost of rooms per night and the total cost..
Multi-day tickets: Price comparisons should be based on cost of tickets at the Walt Disney World box office compared to the tickets offered in the plan.
Meals: Meal plan comparison can be made on the cost of one meal per person per day.
*Children's meals should be made in the same style of comparison.***
Additional information:
Tickets must be easily obtainable - mailed to the home address, delivered to the hotel room, or picked up at an office. Waiting on long lines for tickets is not an option.
Meals can be served either on site at Walt Disney World, or at off-site restaurants.
Meal discount methods must be reliable.
Helpful tips must be included throughout the report. Tips can be on any Orlando-related subject, preferably saving money or time.
