My sample is here,
The Indian society is amongst the oldest civilizations alive in the Solar System. I can be sure of that, by placing some faith, in all the human celestial observations and expeditions. Speaking of Astronomy, I believe that all the studies and human interventions into the space have led us more towards the sense of desolation than that of appeasement. Humans, before such expeditions, had at least some hope of reaching the stars. Unlike, the present day eight year old genius, who, in his running tone pontificates, “It will take 80,000 years to reach the nearest star.” By all means it is my idiosyncratic perception and bears no intent, whatsoever, to demean the efforts put by astronomers, over the centuries, to come to such conclusions.
