What you need to tell his story properly is someone who is a native English speaker (I was born, raised, and educated in the US) who is familiar with the memoir genre ("Angela's Ashes" remains one of my favorite books) and who writes compelling non-fiction. Also, you'll want someone who can keep in mind your eventual documentary while writing so that the transition from book to film is an easy one. Just imagine being a healthy young man with his whole life ahead of him and then, what feels like moments later, dying by the side of the road. Imagine the pain of enduring 19 surgeries, the surreal reality of moving through the world with over 100 pieces of foreign metal implanted inside of your body. And then, impossibly, imagine coming out on the other side, seeing hope where there was none, and finding a lease on life where most would have given up. You are fortunate to know such a person! PLEASE NOTE: I noticed in your project description that you wrote, "Around 150-200 word book is great!" and I am assuming that this is a typo. I have assumed that you meant 15,000-20,000 words. My car wouldn't start. I walked three miles to get to the doctor, then slipped into the coma. Three days later I was learning how to write and recall words again. For weeks I began the day by reviewing what I had accomplished previously. My recovery is the result of my efforts, my background and training and another Power. I am new to this site and do not find your attachment. We need to converse more if interested. I have counseled many handicapped and online edited a lengthy biography for an man with a bank injury.
