connecting a database in ColdFusion

It's a straight forward and easy task. Just have to setup the db and configure the datasource in the CF administrator. Hence the low bid.

I have more than 3 years of experience in developing coldfusion applications and administering and setting up coldfusion server. So, I have well knowledge to how to connect to databases whether it is local database or remote database.

Can transfer DB from old site to new site... I will need access to both new site and old site and source code for CF application to validate datasource names as well as what version of Coldfusion you are using, what DB engine the old site was running and whether your new site has support for it... otherwise, will require conversion between DB engines (which would take longer). If you used the built-in sight migration tools, it would not back up the actual database.
