Amazon Cloudfront CDN Magento Extension + Paralellize Downloads Across Multiple Custom Hostnames

I have Mangeto 1.6.1 installed and I uploaded Cloudfront CDN extension from

It worked at first, however now it does not upload any media to the CDN. When I enable the extension, all css and js files are 404 not found. When I disable, the website works fine.
Your task is 2 fold
1) Get Cloudfront CDN extension to work properly with magento.
2) Configure Amazon Cloudfront CDN Web Services to Parallelize downloads across 4 hostnames with custom CNAME i.e. [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]
