Extend functionality in Point of Sale with cashiers. Scenario: ------------------ -End customer has several users, but only one POS/POS-box. -End customer wants to be able to change cashier directly in the pos-screen, without having to log out/in and closing session, as this takes to much time. -End customer pays commision based on revenue generated. (They use Point of Sale -> Daily operations -> Orders, to see how much revenue is generated by each employee. This should be linked to cashier) Functionality: ------------------ In POS-screen: -display active cashier (on top-bar) -change cashier (by clicking displayed active cashier) --Cancel-button --Search-field (for available cashiers) --Display list of available cashiers (sorted by priority) --When cashier is selected: ---"Set cashier" - button ---"Cancel" - button In Backend: Create a menyitem under "Point of Sale" > "Configuration", called Cashiers (or something like that) -Add/edit cashiers: Cashiername (displayed name), link to user with access rights to pos, visibility in POS (yes/No), priority in list (int) Other: ------------------ -Module dependent on point of sale -Module must use the new API/ be futureproof. (So that there is no problem upgrading to Odoo v9 when it comes out) (-Module must work on one or several POS-boxes) -Fields in module must be translatable If something is unclear, please let us know.
