CSS guru wanted for 2-3 css fixes

I am in the stages of creating the initial html and css for a site that will eventually be a Joomla theme. There are a few lingering issues I'd like to hand off to someone really well versed in CSS and its foibles so I can turn my attention to other things. The issues include last child of an unordered list, Border around content that should expand as the content expands (yes I know this is a thorny one) and background color change on hover for navigation that properly fills the link area.
