I am an established and certified Dev401 and ADM201 Salesforce developer and administrator. I have implemented numerous out of the box workarounds for similar requirements and I am also able to provide the same using customization. I am able to visualize the specific requirement as stated in the description and will be able to provide an optimized logical solution. Based on my present understanding, the solution can be concluded in one of two possible ways: 1. Using purely configuration (Workflows, recordtypes, etc) 2. Utilizing an inline visualforce page for picklist population. Option 2 is more likely as the problem is catering to the logged in user, However, if the logged in User record will be related to the Object record in question and will be the only one to access the picklist, I will proceed with Option 1 as it will remove any need for custom code/components. The implementation plan is 5 days, broken down into: a. 1 day of requirement analysis and finalizing the approach. b. 2-3 days of development work. c. 1-2 days of testing. Based on complexity encountered as per initial discussions this can also be delivered within 3 days. Looking forward to receiving further details.
