The theme of my project is to compare and make implementation of algorithms for motion estimation in H.264 standards (HAVC) and h.265 (HEVC). there are h.264 and h.265 standards on the internet, of course. Algorithms that are important to me: a full search algorithm, one at a time algorithm, the gradient descent algorithm and 2D logarithmic algorithm. I need to load the any video and based on algorithms (in accordance with each of the standard) to determine the motion estimation and compare the speed of h.264 and h.265 standards.

I would be very interested to work on you project as this is an area that I am very interested in. I hold a PhD in image and video coding, where I carried out research on compression algorithms using wavelets and vector quantization. When I moved to industry I worked for 8 years as an embedded software engineer for an IP CCTV company where among other things I worked on the following: - MPEG-4 video codecs for both Windows and Texas Instruments DSP. - Linux device drivers for H/W MPEG-4 and H.264 codecs. - Motion estimation algorithms by analyzing compressed video streams. Later moved to a medical devices company where I worked on an H.264 video streaming prototype using TI DaVinci media processors. I have solid understanding of MPEG video coding techniques, exposure to MPEG reference software and 13 years C/C++ commercial programming experience.
