I need someone to write a user-layer application that will configure and then pull data from a USB camera with a built-in MPEG4 or h264 encoder. Note, I do *not* want any video encoding happening on the host processor - it must be on a camera with a built-in encoder. This software must simply transfer data from the camera to a UDP socket. So this work will include:

* identifying and sourcing a camera for prototyping (if you already have a camera we may be able to use it)

* writing the user-space code for Linux, and identifying any dependencies

* develop a demo application that reads data from the USB camera's encoder and outputs every mpeg/h264 frame as a datagram on a UDP socket

* software must run on a typical laptop with Ubutnu *and* a Raspberry Pi 3

* a known compatible camera: Logitech C920
