Need to re-program the Windows [login to view URL] file (simplified Chinese) to utilize the Bengali (Bangladesh) language character set. This file will be used on Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 operating systems. We are using a program called Citect Scada 7.2 that uses .dbf files for its language conversions. We use a MS SQL table that has both English and Bengali translations, Citect will pull the text translations from SQL and create a .dbf file that is then used in Citect for displaying the correct translations. Without a .nls file that contains the Bengali character set, Citect will only display ??? for any Bengali translations. To test that the nls file works, we will provide an excel spreadsheet with English and Bengali translations and an excel to dbf converter program that will convert English to Bengali, using the new nls file, that will save the conversion to a .dbf file. Without the correct .nls file the .dbf file will only contain ??? for the converted text.
