We are currently in the need to have a company help us structure a high-performance, ad filtering proxy server. Must be written using ATL/C++ (NO MFC), and with associated hook-in points where we can then ad our own custom ad filtering code and URL blocking for outgoing requests to known ad servers. The purpose of this project is to give us a solid foundation for a proxy server that will filter ads. Our developers can take over regarding the actual ad filtering/URL blocking, but we dont have experience with WSock2 and other lower level requirements for a good proxy. We require full ownership of final source code and all IP rights, as it will be integrated into our current ad blocking software suite. This could in several follow-on projects if it appears it is cheaper to continue to use your team for further buildout of the proxy server instead of our own developers. For now, please only bid based on providing a solid, stable, small footprint and high-performance proxy server that can run on any WinXP/NT machine. We will not try to support Win98/ME.
