I need a modem interface program runs on PC which works as if I input the caller's phone number from the keyboard.
It works like this:
I got an existing web application which is some kind of address book application. When I enter a telephone number, it will search the database and display related info of that person. Now I would like to connect this application with the modem
There could be 2 possible solutions, and you may choose one of them to implement. (please choose the solution which you can offer a lower cost!)
Solution 1:
On receiving a call, the program will open the default browser and jump to a specific URL with the caller ID as a parameter. For example, when the caller ID of a call is 12345678, the program will open the default browser and jump to [login to view URL]
Solution 2:
On receiving a call, the program acts exactly as a user key in the caller ID number and hit enter from the keyboard. (Of course, I will keep the application open and leave the cursor on the suitable location).
For both solutions, the program needs not answer the call.
This program should be able to works with common modems and the CID Initialize string is "+VCID=1"
Hello! I can make you Visual Basic .NET application, to do the work for Solution 1. I got experience working with AT commands and serial port communication with GSM headsets, so I think modem interface will be almost the same. Also it is possible if requested to be done with TAPI instead of using direct AT commands.
Also fully configurable from a options window. :)
I have experience develop Integrated Voice Logger using VB.Net, TAPIEx and MySQL for famous Indonesia Bank. Please let me develop the user interface as you need. Thank you very much.
