Re-write for Meet the Business Owner Section George Swan Clinical Hypnotherapist is a real-life example of how hypnotherapy can help bring about extraordinary life change. His first experience with hypnosis and hypnotherapy was during his time studying Aerospace Engineering and Rocket Science at the University of New South Wales. Faced with deadline after deadline and a demanding study schedule, George stumbled across a book on self-hypnosis. Willing to give it a try, George applied the techniques and theories to his studies and as a result, went on to graduate with Honours. Since his time at University, George has continued to practice self-hypnosis, something that has paid off in many ways through a flourishing career, optimum fitness, positive mindset and a life of plenty. George is extremely passionate about helping people. It was this passion, combined with a deep appreciation of the power of hypnosis that led George to enrol into professional training with the Australian Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy. 2. Rewrite for History Section I first discovered the wonder of hypnosis when I was studying Aerospace Engineering (Rocket Science) at the University of New South Wales. I wanted to become a Pilot in the Royal Australian Air Force but was having difficulty with tight deadlines and demanding study schedules. Hypnotherapy allowed me to stay calm and focus on achieving what I wanted. After realising how much hypnotherapy could help others too, I decided to train and skill up in hypnotherapy and subsequently set up my own business. During this time, I’ve worked with some of Australia’s top organisations and applied my Hypnosis, NLP and Hypnotherapy techniques to help clients from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. I attribute my success and track record in this field to the combination of skills I’ve developed through my endeavours to date, my business experience and my own personal development in overcoming personal obstacles. I’m living proof that you can make peace with the past and live the life you want. 3. Rewrite for Specialities My specialities are not limited to one particular area. I am inspired and shaped by many different things, then led down a path of intrigue and exploration. Earlier on in life, I was inspired by Leonardo da Vinci and the extensive range of skills he mastered. Not only is he a highly talented painter and sculptor – he’s also an architect, musician, engineer and more! Partly thanks to his influence, I’ve lived my life wanting to learn about many different interesting areas. I’m not satisfied with boxing myself into a particular area. My thirst for knowledge drives me to continually expand the areas I choose to specialise in. If there were to be a common thread in all that I do, it’s helping people live the life they truly want to live by empowering them to solve common life problems. These include fierce addictions, crippling anxiety, attracting men, attracting women, fears and phobias, sleeping problems, pain relief, quit smoking, relationship problems, self-confidence, sexual problems, stress and weight loss.
