The Content Strategist is a key leader of our multidisciplinary team and the driving force behind our original content programs. A creative thinker with a passion for strategy, this person loves to read the landscape of a client’s social and content presence and envision a new future, then build toward that vision. The Content Strategist leads and participates in all aspects of strategy and execution across multiple clients – from consumer and enterprise technology start-ups to lifestyle and media companies – delivering valuable insight and engaging diverse audiences. The right candidate for this role understands the power of content and its unique role in building a community around a change-the-world brand.
The Content Strategist is a skilled editorial manager who guides editorial direction, shapes voice and messaging and directs a multidisciplinary team of in-house and external contributors – including writers, editors, designers and PR specialists – to meet high standards and tight deadlines. This person designs social media and distribution strategy, draws insight from performance analytics and adjusts execution for impact. An experienced client lead, the Content Strategist is a trusted advisor to high-level contacts, communicating the vision and value of our work and guiding the program to success.
Our content frequently takes the form of blogs, social media posts, thought leadership pieces, case studies, videos, infographics, long-form journalistic pieces, white papers and ebooks, but we can create anything we dream up. 7+ years experience conceptualizing, designing and creating original content programs and/or media properties, preferably for technology companies
Proven success building relationships with high-level client contacts and acting as a strategic advisor and SME with regard to all things content
Expertise in shaping the editorial direction, voice and messaging of content in a range of formats to fit diverse audiences
Demonstrated experience directing teams of writers, editors, PR specialists and/or other multimedia contributors
Passion for planning and launching multi-channel social media and distribution strategies for diverse audiences
Ability to set analytics goals, measure performance, and adjust strategy to achieve success
Practical experience with SEO and content optimization
Entrepreneurial spirit and positive can-do attitude
