Animation of a SD video logo to HD format

We have a logo at the front of a video for a company that Shows a Man jumping into the air, it is a few seconds long. The problem is it was a SD video of a man against the sunset. We want to retain the company image and have the man jumping (with locks) in a similar fashion but have it as an animation which looks 100% real, so we can then use it in AE and composite it with other images, files etc. Basically so we can manipulate it at Full HD quality. The logo can been seen in the first few frame here [login to view URL] only need the man jumping in HD. But preferable an improvement on what pre-exist.
